was thinking about this the other day, anyone know if these are similar in terms of flow or if one is much more free flowing than the other, and how much of an affect it might have on tunes? (with same intake flow)

Hogslayers will flow more if for no other reason than they eliminate the cat. Plus the mufflers are more open than tors i'm sure. Also louder. Impact on tunes....well, i have tried the same tune with no cat at all (elbows) and with a gutted cat and there is a bit better power w/o any cat at all. Also loud as hell with elbows, which i suspect would be even louder with hogslayers. (straight thru connector pipes)

What does doing the pipes do to the low end torque?

More open systems have a tendency to produce torque and hp higher in the rev range.

Does de-catting affect low end as well?

I have had (and still have in the garage) the short tors, the long tors and currently on the Storm the hogslayers. I have used both sets of tors with the Meerkat crossover and the hogs connect directly to the headers.
I have not put it on the dyno in any configuration but my butt tells me the main difference is the look. Hogslayers are tighter to the mc and look much better. IHMO.

Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded.
